Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)
The graduating students from mechanical engineering will have a wide spread background of science, mathematics and fundamentals of mechanical engineering to be able to solve application level problems.
The graduating students from mechanical engineering department will develop understanding of core mechanical areas such as design, thermal engineering, material science, CAD/CAM and advanced manufacturing technology from industries.
The program prepares the graduates to achieve competency for a in disciplinary research activities in area of solo – technological issue like environment and sustainability.
The graduating students from mechanical engineering will be inculcate professionals and ethical values, team work, leadership skills and industrial relations.
The graduating students from mechanical engineering will be enriched in project and frame management.
Be capable of applying relevant skills of basic science, engineering design and modeling, manufacturing, management…etc. learnt in the programme for their professional career.
Programme Outcomes (POs)
An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering to mechanical engineering.
An ability to design and conduct experiment, as well as to analysis and interpret data.
An ability to design a system, component or process to meet desired needs with is realistic constrains such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturing ability and sustainability.
An ability to function of multi disciplinary teams.
An ability to identify, formulate and solve mechanical engineering problems.
An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility of a mechanical engineer.
An ability to communicate effectively.
The board education necessary to understand the import of engineering solution in a global economics, environmental and societal context.
